Project Vision Underdeveloped

This is part of an ongoing series of posts about areas of READINESS that should be addressed to ensure project success, before you start.

A project has been identified, for a purpose, a correction, a new strategic direction, a new product, a new technology.  Has each key characteristic of the project been well thought out,  documented, and reviewed?  Can you articulate the what, why, and when?

Without this it will be hard to sell the project, get support, get funding, select the right resources, and generally start it off on the right foot.
