Sketchy Ideas Podcast Appearance #1

I’m generally uncomfortable with promoting any rare “15 minutes of fame” for myself, but here’s one exception I’ll indulge in.  On Wednesday, March 23, I had the privilege of being a guest on the weekly Sketchy Ideas podcast, hosted by Brad James and Michael Rampolla.  The topic of this podcast Episode 86 was “fire preventer meets the fire fighters”.

In my consulting practice at Arete Global Solutions, I offer advanced project planning and preparation services to banks, helping them avoid obstacles so complex projects less difficult, saving time and money.

Metaphorically speaking, my work is mostly being a “fire preventer” and is not as glamorous as being a “fire fighter”.  (Yes, I always wanted to ride the shiny red truck and put out fires!) The guys further kidded that the fire fighters get the calendar, but preventers do not.  That’s ok, as I’m still excited to help banks be more successful in their projects by deploying my Readiness Assurance© model and process.

This was a fun experience and my first podcast appearance.  I think I’d like to do more of this, but will I promote that too?
